A mile up
What changes when you print at 5,280 feet
Denver is a better event town than it gets credit for. The Colorado Convention Center keeps a full calendar, the Great American Beer Festival packs its halls every fall, and Red Rocks runs shows most nights from spring into fall.
The air is the part visitors forget. It's dry and thin, so water-based ink skins over in the screen faster, and guests get sunburned in an hour on an open lawn. We pick inks for the conditions, keep screens moving, and set up under cover whenever the event is outside.
Red Rocks is in Morrison, about 30 minutes west of downtown, and backstage space is limited, so jobs there get planned around the venue's load-in rules before anything else. In winter, a lot of brands move their activations up to the mountain towns, and we follow.
